Ski and Snowboarding Services Service "A" Hot Wax - £5.99 The ski/board base is cleaned with wax remover, then wax is ironed into the base. The heat opens the pores of the base allowing wax to penetrate further into the base material. Excess wax is then scraped off and the base is polished to give a smooth finish which protects the base and allows the skis to glide better. Service "B" Basic Service - £14.99 The ski/board is given an edge sharpen and is then passed over the micro-plane which flattens and structures the base. The edges are then polished by hand to give a smooth yet sharp feel. Hot wax is included. Service"C" Full Service - £29.99 This restores the ski/board to "off the shelf" condition by firstly micro-planing, then filling any holes or scratches in the base using high density polythene at a very high temperature. The edges are sharpened and the ski is given a belt grind. This puts a new finish on the ski. It is then given a hot wax and polished to give a very smooth finish. All skis/boards shall be serviced in accordance to our price list. Repairs are never "invisible" but we will try our best. if any additional details are required e.g. "Race Finish" they must be added to the service note.
